FOR BUSINESSES

MINDFULNESS TRAINING FOR BUSINESS TEAMS TO ENHANCE AGILITY & PROMOTE CLARITY IN DECISION-MAKING & LEADERSHIP

“Greater complexity outside requires greater clarity inside. Effective leadership isn’t about just checking off more tasks. It’s defined by how well we use our minds and interact with others. We need flexibility and clear purpose in the face of complexity. We need balance, insight, and the ability to inspire others.

Yet our workplaces are churning out burned-out leaders, who report little bandwidth for big-picture thinking, for innovation, and truly understanding others and building strong culture. The skills to work with our minds, our emotions, and other people are essential–they are vital to improving our organisational performance, resilience and overall well-being.”

Mental health (mainly stress and depression) sick days off work, account for approx. 20% of all sick days taken in businesses, across Europe & the US, in 2018, and more than 80% of workers globally, report experiencing increased work-related stress. Stress itself is linked to serious long-term physical and mental health problems.

There is a strong business case to be made for mindfulness training at work. A workplace that keenly supports employees to cultivate and grow is an organisation that grows itself.

Research shows that mindfulness training in the workplace can result in behaviour change and a positive shift in overall culture. A recent international review of over 4,000 scientific studies has found that mindfulness can positively impact on key workplace outcomes (both intra- and inter-personal), including performance, team work, and wellbeing.
